Song # 5: "Lightning Crashes" by Live
Live remains one of my sister's earliest favorite acts. "Lightning Crashes" is one of the simplest yet most moving rock songs about the fragility of existence, the binding ties of relationships, and the hope new life brings.
23, city rat. Pines for her own rural seaside hut but deep down knows can't live without cable TV, cellphone, and DSL internet. Has withheld sister's name to protect the guilty (I swear she's a real person).
